Footage

Hey guys,
I got a good amount of footage from the UCF vs. UTEP game. I got about 20 to 30 plays on camer, got some random footage of people walking around (no obvious faces shown), and some shots of the stadium after the game. I will bring Alli's camera and my camera with me to class this week. If Jarid can bring his laptop to class I'll dump the footage onto it.

Parking

So i went to student govt today and was able to get a hold of a parking permit for Lot C. not sure where that is yet but i told him we were looking to get as close as possible to the memory mall area. Let me know what we want to do with it. Ali, if u want to take ur moms car we can put our stuff in there and use that. But yea let me know so we can figure that out. Thanks.

The Game.

Hey guys. I won't be able to make it to most of the game. I have work and I cannot get off. I will be able to go to the end of the game to get postgame footage, but I'm not paying $35 to only watch the end of the game. Ill do my best to get as much footage as possible.

So I'm assuming that no one got anything from this game?  We NEED to make sure to get lots of footage from Homecoming.  I will be filming the lazy guy scene's next week with a friend of mine.  So lets get on it!  Go Team!  lol

Okay, we ditched the idea for a commercial and instead are doing a sort of day in the life of different people revolving around UCF Football Game. Alli will post the mindmap soon.

A Thought

I've been thinking about this Flip Video idea. Here's twist. What if you all came up with a script individually shot the same script, and then cut it together so that the one piece would have multiple interpretations of that same script?

I mean, this could be a commercial, or a story or whatever. But I like the idea of a super portable video allowing each of you to explore a vision.

Hmmmm.

Concept for Project

So we're going to go with a commercial for flipvideo cameras.  My thought was that cheesy 80's-90's commercials....Like Skipit or Crossfire.  I think we need to meet up to do some mind mapping and dole out some different ideas for all of us to play with.  Comment with your free time.

My Night Test

Not very good at night. I also notice a bit of graininess with videos shot in little light...I did another light and day test that i will post when I get back from my sister's wedding.

Adding Videos

Okay, this has nothing to do with the night shots I asked for, but last weekend, I shot a bunch of footage of 9-year-olds wakeboarding indoors at Adrenalina. It should be interesting to see motion and water on screen. I'll cut and post it this week.

BTW - do you guys know how to embed youTube videos in to this blog? They should look like this:

Okay, this is the blog for Grula's Foundation of Production FlipVideo Group.  I took the liberty of naming us The FlipSide Flippers.  Deal with it!  Once we get up and running we need to start testing out our camera's and posting our discoveries here.
